Tami Helms and Tim Keck

Round dancing is an important part of square dancing culture.  A normal Mainstream or Plus Square Dance includes two square dance calls and then two round dances. There are also round only clubs and dances. Round dances are patterned ballroom dance moves (which are cued by a Cuer) to many well known songs that have a good beat .

Tami has been cueing for 15+ years and has taught and cued at many weekends and festivals. Dances that she has written are: Jingle Bell Rock, Twistin' the Night Away, and Behind Closed Doors.

Tami is the Club Cuer for B'n'B Square and Round Dance Club in Oregon City,OR (bnbsquares.org), River City Dancers in Milwaukie, OR (rivercitydancers.net) and Tumbleweeds in Portland.
